By making a booking with Brisbane Hire Bus, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you are booking on behalf of a group or company, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms on their behalf.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern all bookings and use of services provided by Brisbane Hire Bus ("B.H.B", "we", "us", "our"), operating from 60 Ashover Rd, Rocklea QLD 4108, Australia.
By submitting a booking request, confirming a quote, or using any of our services, you ("the Client", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Brisbane Hire Bus.
We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your booking will apply to your charter.
A quote submitted by B.H.B is an offer valid for 14 days from the date of issue, unless otherwise stated. Quotes are not binding until confirmed in writing by B.H.B following receipt of a deposit.
A booking is confirmed when:
The Client is responsible for ensuring that all information provided at the time of booking is accurate, including travel dates, pickup and drop-off locations, passenger numbers, and any special requirements. B.H.B accepts no liability for service failures arising from inaccurate information provided by the Client.
Passenger numbers must not exceed the licensed seating capacity of the booked vehicle. B.H.B reserves the right to refuse carriage to additional passengers not included in the original booking.
All prices quoted by B.H.B are GST-inclusive and cover the vehicle, driver, insurance, fuel, and applicable tolls. The Quoted Price is fixed at the time of Booking Confirmation and will not change unless the Client requests material changes to the scope of the charter.
A deposit is required to secure your booking. The deposit amount will be advised at the time of quoting. The deposit is non-refundable in the event of cancellation by the Client, except where otherwise stated in our cancellation policy below.
The balance of the Quoted Price is due as specified in your Booking Confirmation β typically prior to or on the day of travel. Failure to make payment by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking.
Additional charges may apply in the following circumstances:
Any additional charges will be invoiced separately and are payable within 14 days of invoice.
The following cancellation schedule applies from the date written notice of cancellation is received by B.H.B:

Cancellations must be made in writing (email is acceptable) to info@brisbanehirebus.com.au. The date of cancellation is the date we receive written notice.
Requests to change booking dates, times, locations, or vehicle type will be accommodated where possible, subject to availability. Changes requested within 48 hours of travel may incur an administration fee. Significant changes may result in a revised quote.
B.H.B reserves the right to cancel a booking in the event of circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), including but not limited to extreme weather events, vehicle breakdown, or driver incapacity. In such cases, B.H.B will use all reasonable endeavours to source an alternative vehicle. If no alternative is available, a full refund of all amounts paid will be provided.
The Client is responsible for the conduct of all Passengers travelling in the chartered vehicle. The following conditions apply to all Passengers:
The Driver has the right to refuse transport or remove a Passenger from the vehicle where their conduct poses a risk to the safety of others or violates these Terms. In such cases, no refund will be provided.
The Client will be held liable for any damage to the vehicle caused by Passengers, including costs of cleaning, repair, or replacement.
Passengers are responsible for their own personal belongings and luggage at all times. B.H.B accepts no liability for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal items left in or on a vehicle.
Luggage must be stowed safely in designated storage areas. Oversized or unusually heavy items must be declared at the time of booking so that an appropriate vehicle can be allocated.
Items left behind in a vehicle after a charter will be held for 14 days. Clients are responsible for arranging collection of any lost property.
B.H.B will use all reasonable endeavours to operate charters on time and as agreed. However, we cannot guarantee punctuality in all circumstances. Factors outside our control include, but are not limited to:
In the event of a significant delay or service disruption, B.H.B will notify the Client as soon as practicable and use reasonable endeavours to minimise the impact. B.H.B's liability in such circumstances is limited in accordance with Section 9 below.
For airport transfers, B.H.B tracks client flights and adjusts pickup times accordingly. However, we accept no liability for missed flights, connections, or transport arising from circumstances outside our control.
To the fullest extent permitted by Australian law, the liability of Brisbane Hire Bus for any loss, damage, delay, or failure arising out of or in connection with a charter is limited to the Quoted Price of the affected service.
B.H.B is not liable for:
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law, including rights relating to guarantees that cannot be excluded.
All B.H.B vehicles are covered by comprehensive motor vehicle insurance and public liability insurance as required under Queensland law. These insurances are included in the Quoted Price and cover Passengers for the duration of the charter. Proof of insurance is available upon written request.
Clients and Passengers are encouraged to arrange their own travel insurance for additional coverage, particularly for multi-day or interstate charters.
We take all complaints seriously. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us as soon as possible β ideally within 7 days of the charter β so that we can address your concern promptly.
Complaints should be submitted in writing to info@brisbanehirebus.com.au. We will acknowledge receipt within 2 business days and aim to resolve all complaints within 14 business days.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may seek assistance from the Queensland Office of Fair Trading or the relevant dispute resolution body.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Queensland, Australia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be severed and the remaining Terms will continue in full force and effect.
